The V60 Cross Country has 2.5 inches more ground clearance (8.3 total) than the V60, plus softer suspension tuning to better absorb the bumps jostles of off-road travel. Importantly, the V60 Cross Country comes standard with all-wheel-drive for better control and traction on loose or slippery surfaces.
Both V60 variants offer selectable drive modes, but the V60 Cross Country exclusively features an extra Off-Road mode. Designed for low-speed use (below 12 mph), this mode automatically adjusts the throttle, transmission, hill descent control, and traction control.
