The main difference between the eAWD and the other AWD option is that the first comes with the XC90 Recharge. The eAWD system offers an exceptionally balanced weight distribution, with the battery pack and electric motor providing a low center of gravity. The AWD system for the pure-gasoline models and the eAWD system share an innovative Instant Traction system for intelligent response to slippage.
